What were the accommodations like?
Boambee Bay is a fantastic resort with facilities for all ages and all types of people. It is located about 10 minutes just outside of Coffs Harbour and is easy to find. The first thing you notice about the resort is the lagoon-style swimming pool with a bridge, spa, and rock waterfall. The restaurant, café, and bar overlook the pool and give parents a chance to sit on the balcony and enjoy a drink while watching the kids play. Other facilities include a kids’ games room, gym, indoor spa and sauna, tennis courts, lawn bowls, pool tables, mini putt putt, hairdresser, and massage options. The rooms are well equipped and ideal for families. We stayed in a two-bedroom self-contained apartment with a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and two bathrooms. The decor was modern and there was two TVs with Austar (cable).
The nearest beach is Sawtell Beach, about a five-minute drive away. On the way there are some amazing scenic lookouts that provide a great view during the day and star gazing at night.
Overall, Boambee Bay Resort is in a nice location and is very central to all the main attractions. It caters for all different types of people but is best suited towards families and is a resort I would definitely recommend.

What were the accommodations like?
This resort is an RCI rental. We stayed in what are called the "Paradise Spa Bure." Ours was a one-bedroom apartment with a huge spa bath, limited kitchen facilities, Balinese-style furniture, air-conditioned, in a garden setting. The bures are quiet and private and also include TV, stereo, video player, and cable TV.
